having been born into a low working class, uneducated family, fan bingbing's childhood was nothing like what she'd hoped it would be. bingbing was taken out of school so she could focus more on caring for her siblings and dying grandmother. she loved her family so much that she tried her best to forget her selfish desires, replacing them with only nurturing care and ambition for her loved ones.

however, the young girl's sacrifice was hardly repayed. on her thirteenth birthday she discovered that her father sold her into an arranged marriage in exchange for money. she pleaded with her  father to let her stay with the famiily, but it was no use.  once her grandmother  finally passed on, bingbing felt helpless and alone. though she hated the thought of betraying the fan name, she couldn't bring herself to enter a marriage with a complete stranger. the night before her wedding was supposed to take place, bingbing met with some old friends of her grandmother's who helped her escape her fate.

the  morning of her wedding, before anyone realized she was gone, the young lady  was  smuggled into south korea and taken in by an older couple.  they tutored her and helped her adjust to a better lifestyle, allowing bingbing to have a taste for the finer things in life. once a full-fledged adult, she was able to legalize herself as a korean citizen and went on to become a very qualified worker in the educational system.

bingbing bounced between jobs at various different schools before finally settling into converse high. initially she worked as vice principal but left for personal reasons. recently she has returned and promoted to head principle of the school, fully prepared to work hard and support her beloved family at converse!

bingbing is well known for her amiability and friendliness. she is like the ultimate hostess, striving to please everyone and make new friends. she will put others before herself most of the time, acting as a motherly or sisterly figure to those she feels are in need of it. 

she has a tendency to spoil others, most especially her loved ones. giving gifts, treating them to small luxuries, and possibly even being lenient to bad behaviors. the latter coming with it's limits, of course. her generosity  extends to herself, often spending big bucks on shopping sprees or self-indulgent outings.

there is a subtle playfulness to her. she loves to tease and have fun, letting her inner youth shine.  attending concerts or going out to the club are favorite pastimes. in her eyes, she can never be "too old" for an exciting experience. 

when it comes to both emotional and physical affection, bingbing is vulnerable. having felt deprived of love during her childhood, she now is weak to anything that remotely mimics her fantastical idea of love. at times she can be naive or reckless  due to her weakness.
