biography
Growing up as a hybrid was... complicated. Changkyun was lucky to have loving parents, a hybrid and a human, who raised him in a worldly fashion but at the same time, he was a little sheltered. Having lived in Boston for so long, Changkyun really got used to the open mentality Americans seemed to have about hybrids and their relationships. Moving back to Korea was a bit of a shock, seeing the culture of traditionalism which was so different from America. It was harder to fit in at school with the kinds of guys he normally would have gotten along with, and he even had a hard time finding a job after high school. Eventually, he got a job at a hybrid coffee shop, as a barista, and has found himself in the Mansion, protected by the rules set forth that help the hybrids there live good, happy lives.

Changkyun is a calm kind of guy with a hugely playful side, and a high sense of responsibility but finds that he isn't so concerned with traditional hybrid roles, sometimes getting backlash from traditionalists. He tries to ignore his needs as a hybrid sometimes, often to his detriment.
