Taemin grew up in a normal household, the second son born to his parents in 1993, he began his road to stardom early on. Showing signs of talent in varying areas, his parents encouraged him to pursue as many as he could for as long as possible so he might have a backup or softer landing when making his own way through adulthood. These gifts spanned from a talent in languages to the study of ancient history, Taemin taking a particular interest in the Greeks which lead to many family holidays there. Taemin was fortunate enough for his family to move with him during his college to a seaside town in Busan where there was a particular course in agriculture he'd taken an interest in.From this, the young man moved onto university where he pursued his passion for everything green, majoring in botany and taking extra lessons in herbs and old medicine whilst volunteering with the gardening clubs.
With his brother having flown off to London to follow his own career choice and his parents deciding they liked Busan too much to leave, Taemin said his goodbyes before heading back to Seoul. He had gained recognition for his designs back during his study and had entered several competitions, winning a good number of them and finding a career for himself. Barely a year on and tragedy struck, Taemin was kidnapped from his small home in Seoul the week after his birthday, held captive for a fortnight before he was thankfully found. His culprit was never caught however and Taemin, wishing to forget the past, dropped all searches and possible persecutions in the hopes of getting over the ordeal. The odd man has since become a little bit more... strange as people often describe him as one whom is "away with the fairies". He's picked up gardening jobs once more though, for his family, friends and extended contacts on occasion, each one bringing him in a fair bit of money, enough to pay the bills at least. He always now runs a patreon linked to his SNS profiles, gaining contributions and money from those willing to give a little support as well as being recruited for photo shoots now and then. He's a kind man once you get to know him, and he hides his PTSD from everyone as best he can, though this can sometimes land him up in some sticky situations. He's the literal embodiment of a lover, not a fighter.
