Taeyon grew up in a difficult situation.
his parents were not ready for a child when they had him. they spent most of their time fighting and didn't even care when taeyong packed his bags and went to live in his bestfriend's basement.
he cried himseld to sleep everynight for a while. but stopped caring once he realized they didn't care either.
he couldn't even bring himself to be sad when both of them died not even a year later.

taeyong realized he was gay at a young age as well, but not having the pressure of disappoiting his parents on top of him, he never saw it as a bad thing.
his bestfriend didn't share his opinion, so when he found out, taeyong got kicked out, and not having anywhere else to go, he just wondered around, until he found a place to stay.

both this incidents were a big blow to his personality and trust, and shaped taeyong into the cold, distant person he is now.

Taeyong is quite reserved and tries to keep to himself. He has some trust issues, due to bad experiences from his past and it is extremely hard to approach him, but if you manage to gain his trust, be careful and don't break it.
he may forgive, but he will never forget.

He's quite emotional and insecure but acts tough and strong around other people. Says he doesn't believe in love, but deep inside is really just looking for someone to show him they care for him and love him.
