Eric Nam comes from a broken family. His dad became an alcholic and always abuse him whether with a reason or no reason ever since his mom passed away from a car accident when he was 12 years old. Ever since his father became an alcholic, Eric has been locking himself in his room after beaten by his father everyday.

By the age of 16, Eric had enough with getting beaten all the time and decides to run away. Knowing that his father is at work, he begin to pack his stuff and left the house to run away from his father. While being away from home, a man from the entertainment company who Eric saw him with his things, which Eric told him that why he ran away from home. The man nodded and decided to find him an affordable home at a nice luxury apartment.

Couple year laters, Eric is now a composer in Eclipse Entertainment since he loves singing, composing and dancing at a young age. Nothing can stop him from believing in his dreams
