What brings you to korea? What made you stay?
Funny story actually. I wanted to get away from my old boring life and my dramatic family and I planned to marry into riches. That, or at least find me a sugar daddy to take care of me. So, I ran away at about age sixteen with a couple of friends. I was young and dumb, and I just wanted to have fun, so I did. I kept going to parties, clubs, and what have you, and I eventually found myself hooking up with the girl who is now my girlfriend at a high school party I was crashing. I'll get more into that in a second, but, first, let me tell you about my first two years in Seoul.
Okay, so, like, at first, life was ing rough. I mean, I was homeless and poor, like sleeping in subway stations while digging from trash cans for food poor. I had tried to get a job plenty of times, but the language barrier hindered me from actually getting anywhere with that. As soon as me and my friends touched down in Korea, I ended up on my own and struggled from that moment on. Wasn't until I turned seventeen that things started to turn around.
The summer of 2013 was when I met this kind old man. He saw me outside of a grocery store, begging for a drink at the very least. My knowledge of Korean had gotten better but was still poor, so I didn't understand much of what he told me when we met, but his first words to me were something like"you look and smell like " I think. I'll never really forget it. He took me inside with him to do some shopping, then I helped him put his things in his car, and he was like "Where are you going? Get in." and so I did. Turns out the guy, Nam Dongsu, lived in one of those old school Korean homes with his fifteen year old granddaughter, Iseul. And he wanted me to move in too.
After I moved in and got used to all the old people in the neighborhood, Iseul showed me where all the kids of the neighborhood went to hang after dark. Iseul and the other kids would all sneak off to the neighboring city to party and sneak into clubs and drink and whatnot, and that's when I got hooked on doing the same.
Me and Iseul got busted after another year passed. Mr. Dongsu was upset, but not surprised. And instead of reprimanding us, he simply told us to at least be back by two in the morning. Said he was a kid once and he wanted us to enjoy our youth. So we did... Then came the high school party.
Hirai Momo—the name of the girl who eventually stole my heart, and the girl I decided to hookup with at the party. What I thought was a simple one night stand developed into a pregnancy, which landed both me and her in some trouble with her parents. Mr. Dongsu was understanding about it (bless his heart), but her parents were so upset about it they didn't allow us to meet. Of course, we did anyway, but for a while, we had to sneak around to meet up and talk about a possible future together. That's... about the same time Mr. Dongsu had passed away.
Iseul and I were left completely in the dark about his illness until the very last minute. He had advanced congestive heart failure. And it quickly took his life... We held a funeral with the money he had stowed away in a safe, and then we buried him... According to his will, I was to inherit his fortune if and only if I took care of Iseul too, which I did.
I never really had the time to grieve his death because of the whole baby on the way thing, so I ended up bottling up my feelings. Shortly after the baby was born, I ended up breaking down and fell into a deep depressive rut that took me a year to come out of. During that time, Iseul was taking care of me and making sure we were able to have a roof over our heads and clothes on our backs, and during that time, Momo was taking care of the baby. When I climbed out of my rut is when I started to help out and care for my young son Amon.
Once I hit age twenty, me and Iseul talked about selling Mr. Dongsu's place and moving into the city. Took us forever to reach a decision, but we decided we'd do two things: first, we were going to split the inheritance 60-40 so that I had enough to take care of my family and she had enough to get by; second, I was going to move out of Mr. Dongsu's place and find a spot in the city for convenience so I could be closer to Momo and Amon. I found a crummy apartment that I stayed in for about six months until Mo's parents finally allowed us to live together. Now, I happily reside in another, much beter apartment complex with my girlfriend, Momo, and child, Amon.
If you have most of Dongsu's inheritance money, why don't you live somewhere more comfortable? Why even work?
Putting it simply, I want to be like Mr. Dongsu and live humbly, modestly. I work to earn extra money for my family to live off of, drive a decent car, and embrace refrain from having too many flashy objects or expensive items. That, and I don't want people to know that I'm lowkey rich so I try to blend in with the crowd.
What are some of your hobbies? What do you do in your free time?
Well, I recently took up pole dancing. Not the ual kind, but the fitness kind. It's pretty fun and I really like it! I'm trying to get Momo into it too. Poledancing aside, though, I like to read, exercise, dance, clean, play with my son, and oddly enough, I enjoy knitting.

ONE. I'm on when possible and not always on when it says I am.
TWO. Detailed writer who loves to both plot and improvise, but prefers the latter. Plotting along the way is also a choice.
THREE. I normally ignore my wall, especially if I'm talking in rooms. If you send me a message, eight times out of ten, I'm responding late.
FOUR. I reply late to everything and hardly check my alerts. Don't rp/talk with me if you can't deal with that.
FIVE. I tend to make a lot of typos and leave out words. Probably because I type too fast, and probably because I don't notice. Bear with me.
SIX. You don't need to remind me I owe you a reply. I definitely know and will update you on why I haven't responded yet.
SEVEN. I am not my character. In the chat, I do get lazy and will talk ooc about things, but when it comes to actual roleplaying, me and my character are two different people. Don't get us mixed up.
