• he enjoys drinking alone at bars sometimes, but usually he’s a home body and prefers having alone times in the comfortability of his home. jongdae has a bad habit of collecting pair of glasses and never throwing old ones away because of sentimental attachment. if he could, he’d own cacti, but with his schedules, he knows he won’t be able to tend to them (which is probably why he can’t risk owning a pet, either).

• on-camera personality: chen appears to be happy and bubbly when on broadcast or stage along with his fellow beagle line members. dubbed the loudest voice of EXO, he has the tendency to whine and be quite boisterous in public. fans named him “fans’ boyfriend” for his charming way to handle himself during fan signs and always maintaining eye contact with them in a sincere and comfortable way. albeit being very honest in a somewhat alarming way (sometimes), he is known to the public as a fairly amiable and caring person.
• off-camera personality: taking a complete 180º turn, jongdae (as a common man) is a very calm and serious person. despite acting with so much energy in front of the public eye, he could actually sleep the whole day if they let him. he shows confidence when he’s on stage as chen, but in day-to-day life, jongdae suffers of insecurities and high self-criticism, reasons behind intense emotional drops. he has a knack for cracking bad jokes and puns, and easily is considered to be the grandpa of EXO with his more sluggish ways.
• jongdae isn’t quite sure what he’s looking for in a roommate, aside from someone who he can click with easily, and make friends with, hopefully. a person who can share interests with him and who also picks up after themselves to make sharing a room a bit more easy. someone who doesn't play loud music all the time is also in jongdae's best interest.
