Don't underestimate him. He's a fighter and he's strong and you know it. You'll notice as soon as your glances meet. Minseok, also known as "Xiumin", has definitely seen a lot. He doesn't get surprised by anything anymore. But how it started, you wanna know? Why did he become like this? Well, you'll find out about it right here and right now.

Since Minseok's childhood years he's been just like a normal kid. Well, almost. No, actually, he wasn't like a normal boy at all. Due to his mother's bad parenting - his parents were divorced and he barely saw his father - he became a spoiled, cliché rich kid. Though he wasn't rich, actually. He just behaved like one. He was one of those "cool kids" at school. The leader of the group. He had many friends, he couldn't even remember how many exactly. That's quite sad - and it only shows how "much" they meant to him and how much he meant to them. His excessive use of insults caused him to get scolded by his teachers a lot, and since he didn't really get much attention from his mother or other family members, he didn't care about it. However, his family saw him as a shame. The thing is: Minseok was bored and tired of just existing and never experiencing anything. He could only let his power out when he was around other people who could watch him doing it  he needed the attention, and it made him feel good to be noticed. 

He may seem like a hyper fluffball to you now, huh? I'll prove that you're wrong. Minseok was known for his temperament and his high need of attention that couldn't be satisfied. He did some really ed up stuff to be the coolest at school, for example. The thing he had been craving for was his family's pride in him, but he didn't even know about that.

As he joied SM Entertainment, he knew that he'd have to change. With the other trainees' help, he could slowly recover from everything. Dancing and singing made him relieve his stress and use the incredible amount of power that's rushing through his body. As EXO was created, Minseok changed a lot. The thing that didn't change, that was his need to tease and judge anyone and anything, though.

Many would just describe Minseok as a cold hearted , especially since he judges others a lot while he's just passive no matter what. He will listen to friends, but he's not too good with words. Comforting others is hard for him, he isn't that empathetic and doesn't socialize too easily. He could come off as a total jerk, but he cares. When he's alone with someone, he's less cold than normally. However, Minseok doesn't care a lot about feelings if he's not in the mood.

He doesn't let anyone command him around. If there's anything Minseok hates, it's being commanded around. He often teases others and doesn't open up to others that easily. He doesn't cry, especially not in front of others. When he feels overwhelmed, he will completely shut down and stop talking to others for a few minutes, sometimes for hours. If you annoy him, he'll fall back into his old, aggressive personality. If you're one of his friends (meaning, if you're an exo member or an exception), you'll have to be able to stand his complex personality.

Surprisingly, Minseok isn't even much of a top if you know how to tame him. He needs someone who can restrain him and someone who can lead him, someone who shows him that he's not the boss. Well, the thing is, Minseok doesn't get impressed by people easily. He's tough and he won't give up his dominant behaviour until someone proves him he's not the boss. He's attracted to people who show a high potential of intelligence, smart people fascinate him the most. Minseok is complex and not easy to get.
