Doojoon was born in a line of royalty, his father being the former king. His father always had the dismissed his kids with the duties of king or just to find the next woman he could bring into his bed. Alike any other teen Doojoon was a bit rebelious, having snuck out of the castle a few times. Bringing himself to a tavern after meeting a specific woman, whom he eventually fell in love with. However him being a prince and the girl being a commoner, the age old love story didn't come to a happy end.
When the King passed away and the crown was passed down to the eldest son Doojoon, his mother set him up for an arranged marriage. However he was able to keep the woman he fell in love with as a concubine. After having 2 children a daughter with his wife and a son with his concubine, the concubine was banished for 16 years and King ruled with just his wife, his second concubine and his two children, trying to forget his past.
Doojoon is not your common king, he is not to fond of formalities as he was never fond of taking the responsibility of a king. However, he will do anything to protect his family. He has a lot of worries on his mind however, he seems to have a calm demeanor about him, and can occasionaly keep his temper.
