about me Growing up into a exceedingly affluent family you would think life would be great, right? well not in baekhyun's case with his parents split up and divorced from steady private infidelity problems and adrift feelings for each other it was hard on baekhyun as a child, and the worst part of it all is it seemed they didn't love baekhyun just as much as they didn't each other, his childhood consist of unfamiliar faces with each parent and house maids and security albeit he had two best friends they weren't enough to fill that gaping hole of family affection. the lack of family importance and endearment taking it's toll on baekhyun he began to take means into his own hands, trying out different things that would make him 'forget' all his problems at home. therefore begat his cutting, though he never cut deep enough to scar his flawlessly milky skin as he absolutely hating pain, he despised it but at the age 14 what else could he do? it was until he met a certain male on may 17th that his life changed for the better or so he had thought so naively to himself. he was the first to ever show baekhyun he was important, the first to care for him and make him feel safe and sound. and soon that warm feeling he got whenever he came around developed into true feelings, one baek would call 'love' oh how naive he was. and on june 17th, ---- confessed to baekhyun. and from that point on baekhyun knew he would do anything for ---- and give anything to ---- since he had it, ---- was never financially stable and their age gape is what opted --- to keep their relationship a secret from everyone else as it was a teacher/student one, but baekhyun never minded that, all he cared about was having --- to himself in the first place. and yet again the 17th marked a mile stone in baekhyun's life as it was their very first date and baek would never forget it. And from that point on every 17th baekhyun would be reminded of rainbows and golden rain, of fluffy clouds and adorable unicorns. Soon spending more and more of his time with --- he began to neglect his best friends, brushing them off and ignoring their calls, but in baekhyun's mind it didn't matter because all the mattered was ----. ---- was the reason baekhyun started drinking at such a young age, being brought to clubs with ---- and acting as if he was 18 at the time(he was actually 14) although --- started acting different after a year of them 'dating',--- got more discourteous and distant, but baekhyun always tried to excuse it, maybe things weren't going well for --- at the time, however things only further spiraled down from then until ---- told baekhyun that he had to leave seoul and baekhyun could either go with him or stay with his family. And of course baekhyun wouldn't want that, the news shocked him and he was in great conflict at the moment, --- gave him a week to decide and throughout the whole week thats what baek did. however he was never sure of the right choice so he tried calling his bestfriend for advise but that didn't go as planned, (insert bf1 name) still had a grudge against baek for how he was treating his friends, but baek unaware of the fact didnt call on terms of reconciling. he did so to seek guidance from his best friend but to his surprise things didnt go as planned and he never got to tell (insert bf1 name) about his secret relationship with --- and his ultimatum to leave or stay and soon that week came to a end, and baek had made his decision. --- had told baekhyun if he had decided to join him to take a lump of his fathers money, baeks belongings and meet him at the abandoned building they used to often visit together at exactly 10pm. And when that night came around baek was there, however a ood 30 minutes earlier, which was the greatest worst turning point in baekhyuns life. that same night he was meant to leave out of seoul with the love of his life, was the night he got gang and it was all administrated by the one who was supposed to 'love' him. That same night baekhyun was told by ---- he never loved him, he was using him for his money and baek was stupid enough to fall for it, the whole night he was being forcefully used he would hear words from his 'lover' no one should ever hear. "you're worthless" "you're only alive to please people" "you're trash" and the worst of it all was the fact all this time he was with baekhyun, he had been cheating with a woman he's been dating for years. Baekhyun was beyond devastated, he was crushed and he no longer believed in love from that point on. This went on for a whole week, constant torture from four different men, a week felt like years to baekhyun, and the constant dehumanizing insults burn into baekhyun until he himself believed those words, 'he was only made to please everyone' It wasn't till the week was over that he was found in the abandoned building, broken down and bloody. Used and defiled. After that he had to attend trauma therapy, but little did they know him getting 'better' was all his acting and he just built up walls around his emotions and buried them deep deep within himself, never to show again. he had apologized and reconciled with his bestfriends soon after and resumed going to school as any normal teen would but baekhyun was far from the normal teen. and however those were the events that built the walls baekhyun holds up now, having a adamant hate for love..
personality
baekhyun is quite the affable person and yet also a very flippant person, he usually gives what you give him and likes to get what he wants when he wants it but maybe thats just an attribute from being so rich and as well being the only child. he is never open about his emotions, not even to his closest friends ,and though every facade he upholds is to cover how he truly feels inside he's the best at acting as if he's alright. he's quick to brush off sentimental questions. he doesn't acknowledge any kind of affectionate feelings as he feels they are all lies and love doesn't indeed exist. he's very flirtatious and will more times than not seduce you just for the fun of it, he is very fond of skinship and often will initiate it whenever he feels like it unless the other stated discomfort to it, he is pretty much unable to tell someone no even if he himself doesn't want to or doesn't agree with whatever the request was. he can be quite blunt with his words but if he comes off sounding rude its probably because he meant to.
