His History - a victim of his past
Independent, street-smart, well-educated, and wise are all words that CANNOT be used to describe Jihoon.
When he was just 16 years old, he insisted that he was 'ready' to move out of their tiny home in the countryside and move into the big city, despite all his family's warnings. Just as predicted, after a mere four days into his newly acquired city-life, he was manipulated into murdering by his older cousin.
He killed 6 people due to the lies of his older cousin- one who tricked him into believing that he needed to kill in order to save his family... whom unfortunately (unknowingly to Jihoon) were already dead.
Upon finding out that his family were lost a lost cause, Jihoon was once again convinced by his cousin that it was the government who killed them, and that he needed to kill more people in order to stop it from happening again.
It wasn't until 2 years later -after killing many people- that he found out the truth. It was all a lie. His family was killed by his cousin and the government wasn't involved at all. After realizing the truth it was already too late. He was on the government's radar now. He had to rely on his manipulative cousin to stay alive, and more importantly stay out of the government's sights.
