Family: a person or people related to one and so to be treated with a special loyalty or intimacy.

That's what Hyejin had learned anyway. But the reality of her family was far from what she had learned in school or saw on tv or in movies. It was different from even her classmates families. She was the second youngest in her family. She had two older sisters, Sukyung and Hyojin. Sukyung was so beautiful she was like a goddess, and was smart and successful on top of it with two different companies and a successful solo career to show for it. Hyojin was just as beautiful and smart and had always been praised for knowing her priorities. Her younger sister, Hyeran, was the baby. And despite the mess she tended to get herself into, it was because of the man Tony that ruined her life. And as the baby, the whole family doted on her. So where did that leave Hwasa? As the odd one out. She had started puberty early and was always super smart and had started school by the time she was 2 years old in a special private school in California. Just after Hyeran turned 1, her family all moved to Osaka from California. Here Hwasa would spend the majority of her life and meet the first guy she considered the love of her life. She was 13, he was 17. He convinced her to start stealing, which she did gladly because of his promise that he would be with her if she did. When she was 14 she had her first drink, and a few months later he started her on drugs. By the time she was 15, Hwasa was the ultimate party girl. And her parents resented her for it. One summer, he had invited Hwasa to a pool party which she gladly attended. That night her life changed forever, that night the last bit of dignity she had, the last bit of purity was taken from her. The then 19 year old, along with 4 of his buddies, took turns her after getting her drugged up and drunk. She never saw them again but wasn't able to go home for four days. When she returned home instead of the worried parents she expected, her parents saw her torn appearance and immediately berated her. Calling her a and a , not believe their daughters cries as she tried to explain. The hypocrisy of her parents became clear to her when her younger sister went through a similar situation with a man much older and they worked to try to get her all the help she needed.

So Hwasa pulled away from all of them and became exactly what her parents had thought she was. She went back to partying and drinking and drugs and took up smoking. When she was 18 she found herself pregnant with twins by a random guy that she had been dating for a few months. Of course he didn't want to be a father but Hwasa refused to give up the babies, so she hid the pregnancy for 5 months, until she started to show and her then boyfriend went crazy, attacking her and beating her almost to the point of death. When she arrived at the hospital, they told her that she had a miscarriage and lost the twins, two girls. That devastated her and so she threw herself into working until she was scouted by an agent of NONA9ON entertainment. She trained there a few months before transferring to Urban Entertainment where she eventually debuted as the leader and original main vocalist of Pulse. After many lineup changes she eventually lost her main vocalist position, which caused her to take up drinking again.

While at Urban she bet a guy Johnny, who was a huge fanboy of her but seemed to be able to see the real her. And soon she found herself falling hard for him. Unfortunately, her sister Hyeran had fallen for him to, and he chose Hwasa. As much as it pained her to have hurt her sister, Hwasa couldn't hide the fact that it felt good to be the first choice for once. This didn't last long however since Johnny got super busy with training, or at least that's what he had told her. But eventually he left, with only a text saying "Coming to Korea was a mistake, I'm going back to Chicago. See ya." She never got the chance to tell him how she had been pregnant with his child, or that she hadn't realized she was pregnant and miscarriaged a month into the pregnancy. So as of now Hwasa has sworn of love. And is gonna work to get back into the swing of things at Urban and leading Pulse like she was doing and she should've continued doing. All while trying to drinking and smoke herself to oblivion (with the occasional help of drugs). When she's not at a Pulse schedule (usually high or at the very least tipsy) she'll be at the nightclubs or college parties.
