about where i'm from.

Jieun was born to an upper middle class family. Her father was a pastor and a lawyer who passed away when she was 10 years old. Her mother was a former actress. It wasn't until high school that Jieun would learn just what kind of actress her mother had been. Finding out the truth about her mother's genre of film, the rumors began to spread like fire. Like mother like daughter they said. And Jieun would spend the rest of her high school and college days being the most proper girl you've ever met. Never showing too much skin, always reserved. She went to college for Business because that's what her father wanted, but she also learned music because that was her passion. In those times when she truly felt alone, music had been her friend and she grew to love it wholeheartedly.

During her time in college, Jieun decided to try her luck and audition for some companies. One company was JYP, which had accepted her and she trained for a year while going to college. She had been set to debut in a group as the leader and main vocalist but the lineup kept changing until the company decided they were no longer gonna go through with the plans for the group. So at the ripe age of 20, Jieun auditioned for Urban Entertainment where she got accepted. It was there that she would meet the love of her life, Sunghoon. He had been her vocal coach, the company wanting to expand her vocal range and style further.

It was innocent, a small teacher crush if you will. Jieun didn't have much experience with the opposite , a fact she was secretly ashamed of. But Sunghoon had been different from the other guys. He had been a complete gentleman, he had been soft and kind to her. Encouraging her when she needed it the most and before she knew it she had fallen in love with him. She could tell he had started to develop feeling for her too, the tension between them becoming more and more evident during their lessons. It was him who had given her the stage name Sky, telling her that there was nothing to high for her to reach. Then one day, they acted on it and started a relationship. A relationship that she would soon find out was really an affair. For Sunghoon was not only married, but his wife was the CEO of the company Jieun was a trainee under. Like mother like daughter they said.

As much as she knew she should've have stopped, she had fallen too deep in love with him to let him go. And so she continued the affair until she found out he was getting divorced. She saw hope, that she could finally have a family, for he had also given her the gift of another life. 9 months later she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy whom they named Taekhoon. But Jieun's relationship with Sunghoon was never the same. He didn't dote on her the way he used to, he didn't show her the same affection and often flat out ignored her. Even now, 2 years later, he only speaks to her when he has to talk about Taekhoon, and then goes back to ignoring her. It took a long time, but despite always having a little hope that one day she will be together with Sunghoon again and they can be the family she always wanted, she knows it's practically impossible at this point especially when he's clearly moved on to better and younger people. All she cares about now is her son, training, debuting and hopefully healing her heart.
