A cocktail of a warm personality and frigid circumstances, Oh Sehun is an anomoly within modern society. Be wary: getting too close often results in someone getting hurt. It's almost cruel that such a pure and innocent soul was hardened by the environment he was forced into.
Nevertheless, getting close to him is possible. However, it is a long, strenuous process that has been completed by a number that he can count on one hand. You have to desperately want to see the human behind the machine because he will try to push you away with every chance he gets. Only until you show your persistence will his facade begin to crack. Be grateful if you are one of those who he feels comfortable around because the occassions where he leaves himself vulnerable are rare.

Oh Sehun: The Front Line

Twenty three years ago, a strangled cry echoed throughout ivory walls and the scent of metallic-- blood wafted within the linoleum halls. when one voice quietened down, another began. A life entered the world and another took its last breath. From his very first breath, his life was riddled with pain and misfortune.
Thrown into this life with only one parent, Sehun led a very humbling life and often had to go without the common luxuries most of his other peers would brag about. There were never any flowers on mothers' day. His mother's stocking was always filled, but never emptied.
His father had an unconscious vendetta against him. He was the cause of his wife's untimely death whether either of them liked it or not. While his father may not have noticed it, Sehun noticed how the other children were treated by their paternal figures. Sehun's father was closed off from his own child and rarely showed affection.
Devoid of the necessary love needed for a child to prosper, Sehun searched for emotional outlets. After months of searching, he finally landed on the routine of working on his body. He would lose himself within his own mind, often pushing himself over his own limits.
When the bridge from adolescence to adulthood arrived, Sehun pursued a career where his body was valued. He decided that while he could not protect his mother from childbirth or his father from himself, he could protect someone else from the general population. thus, he entered the bodyguard/security field and has been content within the field ever since.
He truly found purpose when he was assigned to protect Park Jimin.

We were never meant to be lovers, but isn't that the most ironic part?
