Nari was a surprise to her family. When her mother was pregnant, only her brother had sown up on ultrasounds, so when she came into the world twenty minutes after her brother, it threw everyone for a loop. However, as her mother always said, everything happens for a reason, and Nari and her brother were quickly spoiled by their parents and older sisters. When she was born, her family had been living in Busan despite the company headquarters being in SEOUL. Shortly after her younger sister Amberle was born the family relocated to Seoul where they still live today.

Growing up with super famous parents, Nari grew up sort of in the spotlight much like her siblings. From a young age her parents had her training in dance, singing, rapping, how to speak and entertain, all of it. It didn't take long for her to discover the underground scene with her brother where they would perform for years, eventually being scouted by a company, NBS Entertainment. Initially, it seemed like a good idea to be under a company that didn't belong to their parents, but after harsh treatments and multiple failed debut projects, the twins decided to leave their company and join Sapphire. Here they didn't get any special treatment despite speculation and were actually treated more harshly than the other trainees. It was became worth it once she debuted in Sapphire's first group, GENUINE. Nari and her brother had been elected as leaders of the group shortly before they debuted which caused controversy. Not just for the fact that the twins were both leaders and happened to be the kids of the CEO, but also because GENUINE was a co ed group. The group released three singles before disbanding and redebuting as two separate groups, ZEUS and HERA.
Life with HERA was great. She started out as the main rapper before being replaced by Aoya when she joined the group before their Japanese debut. With the group losing their main vocalist, Star, the role soon fell on Nari and has been a position she's held ever since.

At first glance, people tend to think she's a or cold and either approach her with an attitude or apprehension. She also can seem a bit distant and antisocial but that's only to people she just met. The truth is, Lily has moments when she can be a but she honestly doesn't care. Much like her brother, she says what she's gonna say, how she's gonna say it and when she's gonna say it. And she tends to say it a lot, not really caring if she'll get in trouble for it later. She is very attentive to her friends and her members. She's always quick to lend a hand, offer a shoulder or just listen if someone has a problem. However as leader of her group, she has a tendency of keeping things to herself even when she's having a hard time since she doesn't want them to think she's weak. She's also a perfectionist and as such tends to spend hours in the dance studio or recording studio for hours after everyone else has gone home to keep practicing or work on new material either for herself or for HERA. She doesn’t have a regard for honorifics unless she’s not comfortable with you or it’s strictly business. She’s the type that will hit and curse someone more the more she likes them. Nari is also very sweet and kind and nurturing, often seen in how she cares for her brother despite being younger, and her younger siblings (including her adopted sisters Hyemi and Hyesung). She’s very flirtatious and likes to have fun and and joke around with her friends, family and band members. But she’s also extremely loyal, something that means a lot to her. She loves hard and gives all of herself into her relationships whether its a romantic relationship, a friendship, or even her family. Once she accepts you into her life, there is pretty much NOTHING she won’t do for you.
She is sometimes a bit rough with her words and can come across as violent, but she’s really the biggest fluffball you’ll ever meet. She’s very protective of her family and friends though and won’t let anyone hurt them without consequences.
