background: from having rap battles in the middle of his school cafeterias, to busking with his friends in the middle of winter, performing is at the heart of sunwoo's fixation towards music. his parents are separated, his mother being the prime parental figure in his life, but he often visits his father during the holidays; for the most part, they're supportive of sunwoo's prospective career choices but only beg that whatever path he takes, he takes it with a sense of poise and rationality. and so sunwoo does, although the reverberations are then felt in the critiques by his mentors who often mistake his lack of emotion as insincerity. but sunwoo is sincere about his desires of performing on stage, he just feels frustrated over how he would translate his sincerity to the viewers. 
despite that, he continued to persist and would constantly post covers, his own compositions, and his own raps onto his soundcloud -- which built traction amongst some casual listeners. he just didn't expect that it would lead him to getting accepted into camp stardom.
