Born a Mermaid Hani has always been fascinated by humans. She watches them from the sea and swims along with their ships, memorising the routes they take and what they do once they arrive. She's able to swim so deeply that no one has spotted her. However, sometimes when the stars glimmer in the night sky Pirates and Sailors alike have told tales of a beautiful woman singing, though they can never find the source of such a wondrous song.

 

One day Hani sneaks aboard a Pirate ship and successfully makes it onto land. As she climbs from the boat her glistening tail transforms into sleek legs, she can stand but just barely. She wanders the beach for a while, growing tired and completely overwhelmed she sits by the shoreline, watching the waves roll by. She's curious to walk further in land and see how the humans live, though it might take her a while to get used to her legs...
