WINE OR BLOOD, IT'S ALL CRIMSON in my eyes .
❝ Breathless exhales are the harmonies of a symphony only we can indulge in. Bare, ivory chests are the blank canvases in which the most delicate and beautiful art is crafted.❞

Sweet, succulent intelligence coupled with seductive glnces: Kim Jongin is a double threat. Domestic single father of one cat and homeowner, Jongin has lived a solitary life, devoid of the need for love or affection. He has worked for everything that he owns and prefers to not owe anyone anything.

Chapter 1: Kim Jongin
There is a sob story behind every strong individual, but Kim Jongin is not strong. Rather, he is simply a victim of circumstance. Mother suffering from depression and father drowning his worries in amber bottles of alcohol, Jongin endured his fair share of nights curled in the corner of his bedroom, tears carving paths down his cheeks. His childhood involved no silver spoons or sunday morning picnics.
Chapter 2: Like Mother, Like Son
Linoleum tile laced with crimson, Jongin never truly knew the cause of his mother's death. The gashes torn down her wrists suggested suicide, but Jongin was more astute than that: he knew what the investigators did not. He had seen how his mother controlled his father like a puppet- a simple glance and Jongin's father would bend at the knee against his will to fulfill any whim the lady of the house desired. The look in her lifeless eyes revealed secrets to Jongin that he never desired to know: this was her form of escaping the life that she had set for herself. However, Jongin knew that she would not be gone forever. Rather, she would not leave at all. That one glance and his newfound ability to tap into the molecular structure of the human body taught him one thing: his mother was a genius and she needed a way out, and she found it.
Chapter 3: Sultry Secrets
Finding himself following the footsteps of his mother, Jongin arrived at a crossroads. He could abandon his old ways of deception and manipulation to start a new life in a new city where he would be accepted, or he could simply continue living a life of guilt and destruction. While the latter seemed tempting, it was ultimately the allure of new possibilities that brought him to OpaCity. Here, he could finally pursue opportunities not granted to him in his old life. He found himself integrating to a life as a real-estate agent during the day and a "personal stress relief" hotline worker during his nights and weekends. He never found the need to use his talents again except in the case of self-defense. While his life was not glorious, his cat and his apartment provided something that he had not experienced in an incredibly long time: happiness.
