Seokjin growing up had always wanted to be a hunter, wanting to be strong like his appa. To be able to provide for his future mate, to be just like his role model. HIs umma was a human female which he didn't care about, he loved her all the same. But as the years went one, she started to become more and sicker. He hated that he wasn't able to do anything to make her feel better, vowing that he wouldn't let anyone go through what he was anymore if he could help it. That's when he decided he would become a doctor instead of a hunter and help those he could. But sadly at the age of seven, his umma passed away. This left his appa heartbroken, he tried his best to stay strong but without his mate his wolf slowly began to die which lead to him dying only a year later, leaving Seokjin an orphan. Growing up, he witnessed other with their mate and he felt jealous since he no longer had anyone. But just when he had turned eighteen, he thought he found his mate in a human woman. It scared him but he wanted to be everything for her. Sadly it wasn't to be, she would only use him for the money he made and cheated on him. After that he became rather jaded and no longer believed that true mates were not possible, promising he wouldn't fall for anyone's tricks.
