Mania is the Greek Goddess of Insanity. She made mankind become filled with rage and insanity at her will. She is the daughter of Nyx and the sister of Thanatos.

In her mortal form after fleeing her home in the Underworld, and after she assumed the role of a university student in South Korea, Jaekyung became a Studio Art major. She likes art and uses it to express herself, but her photographs and drawings are not for the faint of heart, they are rather gruesome and strange. She is usually in the library reading or studying and Jaekyung also has a habit of talking to herself sometimes in the café.

Jaekyung is the University’s resident loner. For her dark and brooding gothic like exterior repels people. A lot of The Preps talk crap about her because she’s so weird. Jaekyung talks to herself quite often and talks to her imaginary friends. She reads horror books and her favorite book is Kujo. For Mania the goddess of insanity was also the goddess of death, rage, and rabies. Jaekyung is actually kind of friendly once you get to know her and she has a warped sense of humor. She adores art and usually takes pictures of gruesome scenes or things that would make a normal person uncomfortable. Her powers are almost nonexistent but she knows how to enrage people very easily so be careful around her.
