basic information

muggle-born, kijoong's mother was a witch and his father was a muggle. his mother was very adamant about keeping him away from the wizarding world, though his father thought it would be good to allow his son to experience the world.

he was curious, and when he was younger, he would often be able to spurt little bursts of magic. he was homeschooled for his childhood, his mother not wanting to have to deal with potentially blowing his cover. whenever he was extremely happy as a child, bubbles would appear as he laughed. however, when he was upset in any sort of way, the area around him would get foggy. this is a habit that carried on into his later years, yet on a much smaller, less noticeable scale. kijoong also exhibited traits of a metamorhmagus (see below).

at eleven years of age, he got his letter to hogwarts, and he was off. he spent his first four years making friends, and most people were genuinely happy with his presence. he was friends with various people from all of the houses, though he was often bullied for being a "half-blood". while it was true, the term was often used in a derogatory way. despite the bullying, he was often bright and cheery, never letting it get to him except on relatively hard days.

kijoong has a very good relationship with his dad. he and his mother aren't very close, because he caught on as a child that she wasn't too fond of him learning and growing up with magic. she allowed it, but she made it clear that she was very unhappy with all of it.

when he was thirteen, his father bought him a rabbit to accompany him on his magical journey. it is a small animal, and it can't really do much, but kijoong cherishes his little bunny with all of his heart.

all about kijoong

a metamorhpmagus is a witch or wizard with the ability to change their physical appearance at will, rather than requiring Polyjuice Potion or a spell like the rest of the wizarding population. They are also extremely rare. it is not a learned trait; you are born with it.

metamorphmagi are different from animagi, being able to take any sort of form with any sort of appearance (animagi can only transform into one animal).

as a child, kijoong's eye color would change various colors depending on his mood. he found it very hard to be able to change forms when he was particularly emotional, but as long as he focused on a regular emotional day, he was able to change at will.
