writing style

i tend to be on the side more on feelings and descriptions, and i don't pay much attention to dialogue. i tend to write a lot, too, maybe paragraphs at a time. don't expect novella length, but definitely multiple paragraphs.

pov preference

i prefer 3rd pov, as i cannot do 1st pov that well. i tend to write in 3rd pov when i'm supposed to be writing 1st, so there. 

basic information

aphrodite isn't really about being held down. she isn't fond of commitment, and believes in her heart over her mind. 

once being wed to hephaestus, the god of forgery and fire, she was quick to push him away. he may have been a good man, with a strong heart and personality, but she didn't like him purely because she was made to like him. she had to. and that's not what love is, to her. love isn't based purely on physical attraction (not that hephaestus had a lot of that), or on good he may be for her. it's based on long talks into the middle of the night, the slow anxiety of what are they going to do next? do they like me? do i like them? there was none of that between her and hephaestus. she was thrown into a relationship with him that she didn't work for, and that wasn't what love was. she couldn't work for it, after that point, because there was just nothing there. 

ares, however, there was. there was a sort of attraction there, but it was purely physical. no emotion, just ual attraction and desire, and that wasn't love either. not to aphrodite. they couldn't talk, they weren't anything.

it wasn't until she found a girl, a girl so beautiful but not in the way aphrodite was. she was hurt, broken, so aphrodite took her in. gave her a home, but with a price. the girl was to be a servant to aphrodite. 

but as time went on, the girl was more than just that. she was a best friend, and soon, a lover.

however, aphrodite couldn't settle for one lover. she needed more. then came another god, one who was always at her right hand. 

betrayal was evident, and was bound to happen. since the girl and the god fell in love and left aphrodite to her own demise. 

the goddess loves shallowly, and never falls deep.
