JIMIN FINDS TOLERABLE
PARK JIMIN IS A CRIMINAL OF MANY TALENTS WITH AND AFFINITY FOR GRAND EXPLOSIONS. JIMIN IS BEST KNOWN FOR TURNING HIS CRIMES INTO A SPECTACLE AND PULLING OFF MULTIPLE JOBS AT THE SAME TIME. HE IS WIDELY PRAISED FOR HIS INTELLIGENCE; AFTER ALL, JIMIN'S SIGNATURE TACTIC IS THE DOMINO AFFECT, IN WHICH ONE LITTLE THING SETS OFF A SERIES OF EVENTS WHICH ALWAYS END WITH A BANG. THE MOTIVATION BEHIND JIMIN'S CRIMES SEEMS TO VARY DEPENDING ON WHICH MOOD HE IS IN. JIMIN IS A SOCIOPATH WITH Histrionic PERSONALITY DISORDER. HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DOZENS OF MURDERS, THOUGH THAT DOES NOT SEEM TO BE HIS PRIMARY GOAL. THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE JIMIN IS CHAOTIC. IT IS EXCITING FOR JIMIN TO BLOW THINGS UP, LOOT ON OCCASION AND ABOVE ALL ELSE DESTROY. HIS VIOLENT TENDENCIES CAN BE PLACATED IN MANY WAYS, BUT HE DOES PREFER TO TAKE HIS AGGRESSION OUT ON PEOPLE WHO DESERVE IT INSTEAD OF INNOCENT PEOPLE. DESPITE THE SEVERITY OF HIS CRIMES, JIMIN NORMALLY HAS A BIG SMILE ON AS HE WATCHES THE RESULTS UNFOLD, HE DOES TRULY ENJOY HIMSELF AND WHAT HE DOES. JIMIN DOES NOT WORK FOR A MOB OR A GANG, BUT HE HAS ACCEPTED PAYMENT OR BRIBES FOR HIS SERVICES. AFTER ALL IF YOU'RE GOOD AT SOMETHING, WHY DO IT FOR FREE?
the park family lived in a very poor part of Korea which was eventually invaded and overtaken by another country. families were separated, sent to prison camps, used for labor and hunted like wild animals. Jimin's family evaded death twice, but weren't so lucky the third time around. in the middle of a rainy night during their attempt to flee Korea they were caught by soldiers. his parents and younger brother were slaughtered in front of Jimin. instead of killing him, the soldiers captured jimin and took him back to the prison camps to work. during his years in the camp, jimin was forced to serve the soldiers and bury the bodies of those who were executed. jimin's eventual escape came only a few months before korea reestablished claim over the land and eliminated any such prisons. either way the damage was already done. after that, jimin returned to life in the small impoverished town littered with gangs and filth. he quickly adapted the idea that he would either be swept away by crime or learn to accept it. jimin, a relatively small man both in height and build, knew he could be overpowered easily and it wouldn't be long before someone killed him. deeply affected by his mental and physical torture along with the current living conditions, jimin took a stance and made himself known. no one cared. not about his family or his story or the crumbling city he lived in or any of the other people there. nobody gave a single . but they would now, wouldn't they? he was certain no one would ever forget park jimin again.
he is a firm believer in "the system isn't broken, it was built this way." and that extends onto the dome as well. jimin believes the dome is the worlds way of dealing with the ugly and hard to talk about. sure, there are criminals, like himself, who deserve to be here, but plenty who were victims of society. park jimin was systematically oppressed, and there for has a very personal relationship with discrimination and poverty. he finds it difficult to judge a person's choices if all they're given to pick from are two terrible situations. in spite of the many awful things jimin has gone through, he has not lost his humor. although, it has taken a very dark turn. his mental state is questionable at best and jimin's personality often changes as a result of his antisocial personality disorder. jimin is driven and motivated by survival. his theatrical approach to crime can easily be linked to the dysfunctional disarray inside his head. being trapped inside the dome has given jimin anxiety, it's a bit too similar to his childhood upbringing even though the scale of the dome is quite large. jimin did not receive a trial nor has he been to jail for his crimes. the man was captured shortly after stealing military nukes-- which he actually planned to dismantle, not use. nothing in the world comes for free, in jimin's opinion and if you want something hard work and determination aren't what gets the job done. you have to get up off your and take it.
