kim minkyung was born on july 29th 1997 at chuncheon, south korea. she was born to a wealthy and powerful family, known for their magnificent clothing line. she was the youngest child, with two older brothers and one older sister - all of them were already in their own careers. her older sister (22) is the one to inherit the family business, and her oldest brother (27) is a successful lawyer and the younger (25), a doctor.
she has lived luxuriously her whole life, but she still remains humble. she's liked by most of the people she meets, for both her personality and appearance.
she believes that if she preserves her voice, her singing voice will become even more beautiful. as an aspiring singer and a performing arts student, she wants to be one of the best singers out there, with an unforgettable voice and inspiring songs. because of that belief, instead of using her lips and voice to communicate, she writes her thoughts on a sketchpad. some people used to ridicule her for it (bullied her for it when she was younger), but she's learned not to care about them, learned to be confident on what she wants to do.
she only uses her voice when she needs to: singing, practicing, or in reprimanding students who are too stubborn for their own good. she rarely ever sings in public though, and she only practices in class. when she speaks, people are usually stunned to hear such strong and powerful effect from her delicate voice.
her intelligence, being responsible and kind have gained her a good reputation amongst her peers and even with the teachers, so when she ran as a candidate for the position of the vice president, she was told she won it rather easily. she loves her position, and she takes her duties really seriously. she does her responsibilities efficiently and quickly.
personality
minkyung is a positive and friendly person with always a smile on her face. she tends to speak in a polite manner, growing up as the youngest child in her family. she's seen as a calm and collected lady, who only ever gets serious when things aren't going her way. while she often maintains a friendly expression on her face, she becomes quite intimidating whenever her mood drops.
she's more on the calculative side than manipulative, but she would go as far as to manipulate someone if she deems it necessary. she's very patient, and she likes to plan ahead rather than being impulsive. it really irks her if some things change that cause her plans to get ruined, but she's quick to adjust and change to adopt to them. she counts emotions as something that may or may not ruin her plans, which is why she tends to become insensitive to other people.
well, she just really doesn't understand emotions that much. even her own. that's why she hides behind her facade.
she lacks knowledge on the emotional department, as she tends to run away when something knocks on her heart. she keeps everyone away, all of them (even her family), and if anyone tries to go inside her safety zone, she immediately tries to push them away.
it's a defense mechanism she's developed over the years, having been betrayed and lied to by her 'friends.' she doesn't trust anyone easily, but show her you're responsible enough to do your own work, congrats! you're one step ahead to getting her trust.
she is pretty straightforward with her words. aside from the fact that it's easier to write with blunt words, she is rather indifferent when it comes to emotions. she tries her best to rephrase what she wants to say, but alas her heart and mind fail her.
if she likes you, she'll tell you. if she doesn't, she'll tell you. she tries to be more empathetic, overthinking about things that aren't even supposed to be there, but she's rather dense, unable to decipher what a person feels unless it's very obvious in their faces and words. she'll dismiss your advances as 'friendly gestures,' which is why a lot of boys have had their hearts broken by the young lady, without her realizing it.
if you like her, she won't know until you tell her. if you hate her, she won't know until you tell her. well, even if you did tell her, she won't understand it immediately unless it's dislike or hate.
