One of his parents donated a large lump-sum of money towards the building of the park. Due to that, he had been asked by his parents to work there and oversee that their money was spent well. His family doesn't deem him smart enough for a "real job in the world" because of his B average in school. Taehyung doesn't want a life spent as a doctor, scientist, or engineer-- so he didn't complain. Dinosaurs are cool anyways... right?
