kim jungeun, better known as kim lip from loona. she can be described as a playful brat, but also a very sweet girl who tries her best to be truthful in every word she speaks. she carries an aura of coolness, joy, and mischievousness but, in reality is simply just very kind.  don't mistake that for innocence.

jungeun is a name she doesn't like people calling her all that often, preferring her stage name kim lip instead. she's prone to giving up parts of herself to make others happy, because she can't bear the thought of someone else feeling sad. this often ends up leaving her emotionally exhausted often, and if she's left alone for too long, she may start lashing out at others unintentionally. kim lip also hates being ignored by others, it often leads to her overthinking a lot of things and causing her to get upset. all she really wants is the people around her to be happy.

why won't you just ing be happy?  why won't you just appreciate what you have before you get it all ripped out of your hands?

dead - "you say you can't live without me, so why aren't you dead yet?  why you still breathing?"  i've become an emotional crutch for you for whatever reason.  you're going through a hard time and i've offered you my arm.  now it's gone too far.

softy - we both find the same stray cat and we both want to help her.

new rules - "don't let him in, you'll have to kick him out again." she showed you her kindness and you betrayed her.  now there's just a mutual push and pull of feelings left.

from a young age, all kim jungeun could think about was one day debuting and standing on a stage with bright lights all around her. her parents were always delighted to see her be so enthusiastic about dancing, and so confident about singing. all jungeun remembers is her mother and father placing their hands on the top of her small head and saying "jungeun, we love you so much. we're so proud of you."

when kim jungeun turned 12 years old, her parents got into a car crash.  when kim jungeun turned 12 years old, she latched onto her dream fiercely and refused to think of anything else. she was going to become an idol, she was going to become an idol for her parents.

she was soon placed under the care of her aunt, who let jungeun do what she wanted, knowing that she had the ultimate goal of preforming on stage one day.  at times she was bitter, harsh, and angry at the world.  however, when her aunt was diagnosed with an incurable disease, that was when she started to realize her outlook on life was wrong. that was what shaped her into the girl she is today, she took upon all of her aunt's fears and sadness and placed them on her back. in return, she replaced it with kindness, joyfulness, and tried to live out the appreciation she had for life every single day.

when she finally got into her current entertainment company, she requested that her story remain private, at the request of her aunt.  nobody knows about her past, no one sees her past the persona of kim lip.  but, jungeun is content with that.

so now she lives, she dances, she breathes, and she sings for many people in her life.  her parents, her aunt, her fans, for every single person around her.  because jungeun kim lip believes that life should be celebrated and that people should feel joy in their lives every single day.
