Junghwa was born to a upper class family who happend to not be there most of the time. He is an only child and lives alone, has been since he was ten years old. His mother had passed away when he was nine years old and his father always travels for work and is rarely home. He pretty much has the house to himself all the time. There is a butler they have who doubled as a nanny when younghwa was younger but it was rather lonley for him. He practically begged his father to let him go to lakeside because at least then he would have a dormmate and well the cheerleading programm was amazing as well. Younghwa started as a gymnist at the young age of seven and fell in love with it. However he prefered cheerleading and asked his mom if he could try out for a squad. She had to try and convice his father to let him. He was actually furious about the idea calling younghwa gay and a betamale. So he had to sneak out of the house to try out and well he got on at the age of twelve. He was the only male on the squad but he absolutly loved the sport. His father was close to disowning him but his mother calmed him down after a while. However he dose not know that Younghwa is still cheerleading at Lakeside. He was with a girl Tzuyu she was a year older than him and when she told him she was pregnat she disapeared back to her home land Taiwan. Recently she has comeback and the two of them are trying to mend their relationship for the baby. Younghwa no longer feels romantic feelings to Tzuyu but he want's to be in the baby's life.

Younghwa is a very sweet and understanding guy. He is rarely mad or seen without a smile on his face. However this does not mean he's un happy, he actually gets depressed a lot but does not want to burden anyone with his problems so he hides it behind a smile. He is very forgiving and always sees the good in others no matter what. He is empathtic and kind. Although a male cheer leader is often times concidered gay by default Younghwa is actually panual he really wont care who he is with, he's kinda a romantic but has been known to pose as gay for fun because the other girls on the squad thinks its funny. He is a people pleaser and really does not know how to say no to somebody.
