Born and raised into royalty, Chaeyoung, lived her life without worry. Why would she when she was taught that nothing could harm her? Since a young age she had always been an adventurer craving to know the unknown. Unfortunately for the naive little girl, she was soon introduced to tragedy that suddenly cracked that safe haven barrier. Her mother was brutally murdered, in fact she was hung from highest peak of the Sphinx in the capital. It sent the once peaceful nation, into a frenzy. War happened among the earthbenders, each person pointing the blame on the next. How could have no one saw the intruders enter the capital? It had to be one of their own. A traitor amongst them.

Her grieving father, King Park, managed to stay strong through it all. Determined to get his people back under control and find his wife's killer, he sent out his best men on a search party. It went on for months almost a year until they had found a fire bender lurking around the borders. The guards easily seized him, taking the man into custody. Word spread all over the nation, already expecting to go into war with the Fuma Faction. And they did go into war, however, it was not with Fuma. They called themselves the Outlawed Bandits, consisting of not just firebenders but airbenders, waterbenders and even earthbenders who have claimed to be shunned for their own. They targeted the royal family to put every nation on notice. Holding no mercy towards the rogue clan, King Park declared war which will forever go down has one of their most bloodiest and barbaric wars of their history. The king made sure they felt the wrath of Root Faction, in honor of his wife and any other life that might have been lost to bandits.

She now knew of the cruel world that existed, she now knew death. The pain was unimaginable to have her mother there by her side to tell everything was going to be okay. For the longest time she had clung to her farthers hip, not feeling safe without him being there. That phased only lasted until she started her training. She would practice from dawn until dust, no breaks were given to her- that was her rule. Her father did become worried with how hard she was training, scared she was not getting enough rest. There were days where she would take her fathers advice and not spar for a day and just rest. She was to never be scared again nor would she ever fear another man or woman again. But sadness will always find away to engulf you some way or another, and tragedy never stops for anyone. A year ago her father fell ill, he had taken an arrow wound to his side. An average arrow just by a common intruder trying to make a name for themselves. Or so they thought. A month later and he had only gotten worse. His skin started peel and his organs had began to shut down. It wasn't until after the king succumbed to his injuries that they learned it wasn't an unknown sickness that had killed him. He had been poisoned. A year has passed and they have yet to find the group of rogues that killed her father, but as the newly crowned ruler of the Rooted Faction nations, her first order was to send a search party in hopes of finding /something/ that links back to the attack.
