immortality is somsething that has always been favoured on this earth. the desire to live forever and never die, to never get old and to never get sick. immortality was what mankind strived for, what they fantasized for. being able to live for as a long as possible was always seen as an achievement, and to keep the look of a strong and healthy person was always seen to be the best thing one could get.
peitho never thought much about immortality. born from two titans, peitho had become an immortal goddess. the woman would represent seduction and persuasion, and she would be a right hand to the goddess of love and beauty, aphrodite. peitho never complained about her standing. she was much akin to a servant but then not, she had her own life and her own day-to-day schedule. she had a personal life that didn't seem to stretch too far from her professional but that was probably because of where she sat as a goddess.
years turned into decades which turned into millennia and peitho hated how she got to see humanity thrive and flourish but never got to experience it herself. she wasn't powerful enough to go down to the mortal realm and like her fellow immortales, "mingle". not that peitho desired to have children with a mortal man, or to find herself embezzled with man at any cost, but she wanted to see life as humans did. to be with the humans, to be mortal.
many of the gods laugh at mortals, and call them puny and weak, but that was what peitho admired about them. they weren't indestructible. they had flaws and weaknesses and could be killed by a strong enough blow. but they were a strong species. they were smart and had advanced so much since prometheus gave them fire.
when hearing that the gods had to flee olympus because of the titans rising up, peitho happily packed her bags and ran to the hills. she would be mortal, even if it was for a little bit, she would be mortal.
now, living in the mortal realm, peitho doesn't want to go back. she wants to live as kim jisoo forever, and she hates being called "peitho".

personality junk jisoo is a dreamer. she loves to look at the sky and dream about the things she will do. she wants to bring just to those who didn't get that just, like how jisoo had lived her years as someone not powerful enough for a voice. she believes in fairness and loves to love. she is very adventurous and never has nothing to do.

jisoo and you were supposed to go do something (go to a movie, go eat at a restaurant, go to a museum, whatever) but she's a bit late. you have tried calling her but she hasn't picked up. after a little while, you notice her stalking towards you. she looks pale and her voice is hoarse. you ask her if she's sick and she shakes her head no and tells you that's she's fine. you check her temperature and she's burning up. after a little bit of persuasion, you manage to bring jisoo home but she lives alone with her dog. after trying to chase you out, you stay and help her get better. just because she looks miserable.

you and peitho always dreamed about being mortals. the two of you would sit in aphrodite's palace and just talk about how cool the mortal world was and all the things you would do in it. you would talk about diseases and 'wow, the plague really , right?'. you would always call peitho 'jisoo' because that was the name she heard once when looking at the eastern side of the world and it just stuck. she would always call you by your mortal name when you were alone. you were the one who helped inspire her to be a human, and you could say peitho did the same. now that your fantasies are true, you two don't really talk much. jisoo tries to reach out to you, but you're breathing in the fresh air and making friends with mortals. jisoo realizes that you didn't want to learn about the mortal world like she did, but instead, become those mortals who don't appreciate life like they should.

jisoo likes going to clubs. she doesn't really get -faced drunk but she likes having the plethora of mortals around her and the nice music. one night, you are the performer or it's open mic night and you go up. the crowd goes crazy because you were so great and jisoo is entranced. she loves how you hold yourself and you're so talented. after the show ends, she tries and talks to you. the two of your exchange a few words, a few laughs, and you get to know each other (maybe cue in jisoo's awkward french, and maybe your awkward french too). everything seems to be great until the two of you hear the pop pop pop of gunshots.
