jiwoo was born in a small town and is one of 5 siblings, her being the middle child. as while her two older siblings were focusing on college and expenses, her two younger siblings were concentrated on learning how to eat or walks.
as a result, jiwoo, the only one her parents deemed able to take care of herself well enough to be ignored for awhile. she didn't mind it at first, since she was a very positive person. she often found peace in singing in her room by herself while her siblings were out. or staying up late at night while her two brothers were asleep, just so she could write a few songs.
but at some point, a 15 year old jiwoo wanted to do something with her life. so she begged her parents to let her go to an arts school in seoul. somehow, her family gathered the money to let her go. so she went and enjoyed school.
around the age of 16 years old, she was scouted for an audition and made it through. four months later, and she's now competing in one of the newest, biggest survival shows in the country.

jiwoo is a bit of a softie, and as a result, she's nice to almost everyone she meets. you can rarely see this girl in a mood other than happy and sunshine like. her siblings trained her to handle bullies (so they say, but really, her older brother and sister were just really mean when they were younger.) so more often than not, she knows how to hide how she really feels inside.
jiwoo is a very positive person and always looks on the bright sides of things, however, and you can't help but be encouraged by her energy and attitude or be annoyed by it.
jiwoo often writes music and songs in her freetime, so you may hear her humming to her own tunes every once in awhile. but if it ever annoys you, just tell her and she'll hush right up for you!
