jieqiong has been dancing since she was 3 years old. she was always considered a protiggy by her coaches and they always wanted her to reach her full potential. they were never easy on her and at times were a little too harsh, but they made her a better dancer. she often uses the same approach with her students, but attempts to not be as brutal as her coaches once were. however, when she is really frustrated she can raise her voice. 

outside of dance practice, jie is really very friendly and outgoing. she can easily make friends with pretty much anyone. although she is tough on the trainees sometimes, she is a genuinely good person and does care about them. she wants them to be able to succeed.
