yuqi had been dancing her whole life. it was just her thing. being and only child as well, her parents wanted nothing more than to make her happy, almost always spoiling her. so she took dance lessons and went to an arts high school. it was around yuqi’s first year of high school when she started to get recognized for her instagram.

yuqi only ever posted two things on her instagram: her face and dancing videos. and suddenly, her instagram started blowing up. she was getting followers left and right, and suddenly small brands were asking if they could promote their products for them. as a high schooler, she thought “why not?” it was a good way to get money and everything. plus, being on the internet allowed her to let loose with her personality, since she wasn’t a real celebrity. after a few months of being on instagram figure, she had gotten an email from an entertainment agency asking if she was interested in auditioning. another case of “why the hell not?”

her company was a big company. it was unbelievably well known, and she wasn’t even sure how she was able to keep her instagram account. a year and a half later, yuqi was set to debut in a girl group. but then star survivor came around and she was into the show, whether she wanted to or not.

being on the internet yuqi was never the type of person to cover up how she feels. she’s not the type to hide her opinion about anything. she’s a memelord and she also tends to shout a lot. she’s a super friendly person though, and she gets a little sad that she scares some people away with her loud voice.

dance is the only thing this girl could ever take seriously. she knows when to switch from “rosefires” to song yuqi. despite her young age, she takes up a role of a leader naturally. she’s clever and witty, and knows the right things to say, which makes her quite charming.
