goals and motivation

To become a vocal coach that students will remember, and a friend that others will cherish. She wants her hoobaes to succeed in the entertainment industry, knowing that they gave their best with Jieun's help. She doesn't want them to suffer and crash and burn the way she did back when she was still doing idol promotions as IU back in the day.

strengths, inherent and learned

Her vocals are her main strength, since she was known for her emotional ballads during her IU days, but she did occasionally do some poppy, cute songs as well.

She's definitely not a lightweight when it comes to drinking. In her later college years, she was known for drinking the most out of her peer group, and still being able to stand properly on an amount that had made the others extremely tipsy.

Jieun takes pride in her dominant personality, along with her warm and friendly demeanor. Students feel comfortable with her, yet also giving her the respect that she, as a senior singer and former idol, deserves. She's quite strict as a teacher, but she's friendly as a senior.

important relationships

Her aunt and her mother. She's the closest to the two of them, since her father passed away. Her playful and cheerful aunt took the role, wanting to help her sister (Jieun's mother) with all the house work and financial issues that occurred since Jieun's father passed away.

Her older brother, Jihyung. He's a big burly guy, quite the opposite of Jieun in terms of appearance, with Jieun having a slender, one could call 'airy' figure. But they're not so different when it comes to personality and they always get along well, ever since Jieun was a child. She was constantly protected by Jihyung, and to this day, he still calls her every few months just to do a checkup.

Heechul. He was (obviously) the one who hired her to work for Star Nation as the vocal coach, and she couldn't be more grateful, since this opportunity kickstarted (or shall we say, rekindled) Jieun's love for teaching /and/ singing. At the moment, they're both very good... friends, but Jieun has noticed Heechul's affection for her and practically ordered him to ask her out on date; they're checking if things will work out.

appearance

Jieun has maintained her appearance back from when she was an idol. Dubbed as "the nation's little sister", Jieun was blessed with a small frame, and a somewhat light and airy aura to her. Her personality says otherwise, but generally this is people's first impression of her. And another difference between her then and now, is that Jieun constantly wears her hair short, occasionally with bangs or none at all.

education

She studied in the national university, passing the entrance exams (with slight difficulty, because idol life had hindered her from studying regularly). By her first day of class in university, she had already left the entertainment industry, but she still chose to take up the performing arts course being offered in the school.

home and living circumstances

- She currently lives alone, in a small, but functional apartment, just a few blocks away from the Star Nation building. Thankfully it's close enough so that she can walk or bike there, if she felt the need to rush. Her house is fairly cluttered, but not messy enough that she couldn't organize her belongings in her mind space. She also owns two cats, two siblings, Artemis and Apollo. They're both pitch black cats, and she loves them dearly.

likes and dislikes

Likes: Red and black velvet clothing, chokers, her pets, her family, warm and cozy blankets, the color red for anything (be it her clothes, her accessories, her shoes, anything she can wear really), denim jackets, suits on men, peaches and strawberries (her favorite fruits), instant noodles (unfortunately), looking at the full moon, jogging in the middle of the night when it's colder, amusement park water rides.

Dislikes: Arrogant students (and people in general), thunder and lightning, rollercoasters, seeing roadkill on the sidewalk (or anywhere, for that matter)

things inside her purse

Her wallet, a pack of gum or mints, her key to her bike lock, her cellphone with the fluffy black charm attached to it, a hand mirror, some blush and other makeup essentials (all kept in a small pouch), a comb, and a small tazer (she likes to carry at least one weapon on her person, just for the worst-case scenario).

ing bees. She knows that bees won't sting you because they'll die, but what the , bees. Terrifying.
