sooyoung grew up with fame, being a child actress and all. she was in countless movies, romcoms, tv shows, and commercials. growing up, she was the child you saw everywhere on the street, just because she was on all those posters and television screens.
but when she reached the age of 14, sooyoung had stopped appearing from tv screens or promotions for about a year. the whole country was talking rumors about where she was and why she disappeared from the face of the earth. even when she wasn't around, she was still the talk of the country.
it wasn't until sooyoung made an instagram account when korea finally found out what sooyoung was up to. on her very first post, (see the bottom of her instagram feed) she admits that she's been training under a company to become an idol. the public didn't know how to feel about this decision. many had said she had lost her charm, others made statements about how sooyoung really couldn't act, and this was her backup plan.
though this would dishearten some, yves used this to prove herself. she practiced hard and soon, she started to grow a more stable fanbase. her company always uploaded videos of her dancing or singing just to feed the fans, since she hadn't exactly made her idol debut yet.
when star survivor when around to recruit trainees, her company thought this was the perfect chance, so they sent in two of their own trainees, jiwoo and sooyoung to go in. many fans hope it's finally time for her to shine and make her official debut.

yves has a natural resting face whenever and wherever she goes. so most people think she's stuck up ot y because of it. in all actuality, yves is just shy and awkward, so she doesn't talk to many people.
but once you get passed that barrier of awkward and politeness, she's actually a really cool, unique and interesting person. there are so many things running through her mind that she wants to say all at once, but she tends to hesitate because she doesn't always want people to think she's weird.
when it comes to work, she knows when to get serious. being on film sites her whole life, she knows that a liottle bit of fun can get you in trouble. so in the practice room, she's serious until someone can break her wall and make her laugh.
