Chaoze grew up, raised by a family that simply loved to dance. They learned practically every dance, and when he was born they wanted to teach him as well. At the age of two he began lessons and by the time he was four he was participating in mini concerts and competitions as well as local talent shows. Two years later at the age of six, he gained a fascination with idol groups and began to look up to them, happily attempting to learn the dances even though at such a young age it was hard for him. Once he turned ten he was able to learn dances within just a day or two and even create dances of his own. He enjoyed it. He enjoyed it a lot.

That was just until he turned thirteen, however. People began to insult him and make fun of him, telling him that he’s not good enough despite his years of experience. Going home in tears one day, his parents began to attempt to make him feel better about himself. They taught him to tell himself, and others, that he was the best. They believed this would make him actually feel that way about himself, but in the long run it just made him feel horrible about himself. He hated himself, and he wanted to be able to prove himself without saying something that he didn’t believe himself was true. Once he turned twenty two he decided to actually attempt this, by going to South Korea and joining Jamm Entertainment.
