Chaewon has always lived the life of a normal girl until the sudden change in a certain feature came to be. her ears had started to sprout and point in one direction and the tips were sharp enough to cut whoever decided to tug at her them which only happened once after the playground bully decided to make it known chaewon was the "freak" of the class. much to the bully's disappointment and chaewon's surprise, her ears made her even more unique to her classmates. they would call her "elfy" and she was always chosen to be the elf princess in their playground battles. But it all ended when her mother decided to move to magnolia springs. it was safe to say the elf community there still had conservative beliefs and disliked humans especialy half-humans which chaewon was, she was a product of something that was against their morals. but that never stopped her from doing what she liked around town, she certainly did not need their permission. Although the move was supposed to be life-changing for them, the young chaewon began to notice her mother becoming more absent by the day. she was always left with her grandmother, her biggest enemy, the old woman punished her presence with unreasonable chores around the house. she wouldn't see her mother at all during the day at times, or until dead of night. the bedtime stories died down to a simple goodnight or nothing at all, but she always waited to hear thesoft footsteps of her mother's to know she was around. eventually chaewon could no longer hear her mother's footsteps one night, she stayed up that night, tears flowing until the sun peeked out to check on her. there was no explanation from anyone, only terrible things her mother's familly said about the missing woman. it was only assumed chaewon would be in the care of her grandmother, but not even the woman wanted anything to do with her. from then on she had to grow up on her surrounded by soulless adults.
personality
Chaewon has always been an unpredictable sort, depending on who and what kind of day it's been, she can either be snarky, or naughty. kindness has always been something chaewon thinks has to be earned from her, it's one of the last things she will show unless you're a close friend. the slightest bit will always show in her actions, such as saving a seat, or giving someone a stick of game. a little goes a long way to her. other than that, she's never been known as the nicest character around town.
