Dongwoon never really remembered much from his early life. He does remember a few memorable things HE did before, or at least the things that recently happened. All he knew was at first, he was just literally a fox. Well one that could do more stuff than others, at least.

He always liked watching humans do their thing for some reason. And maybe mess with a few of them if given the chance- actually, for him seeing a human is enough for a chance.

When he was finally able to shapeshift into a human form, he couldn't help but to try and get closer to the creatures he always observed. He borrowed many appearances that made his habit of trickery easier, the town eventually suspecting that it was a kitsune that caused most of the troubles.

All was going well until a mortal somehow got his hands on his star ball, a little ball that somehow looked like a simple pearl. That held his soul and now a mere mortal was planning on using him. Of course, he did everything to get it back. He did what the mortal asked him to- the requests were fairly enjoyable to do, he was told to hide important heirlooms of some families, create and spread rumors about certain people, and he was even once told to make friends go against each other. He was sure this mortal had a lot of hate for the place.

Eventually, the people grew more and more suspicious of a kitsune running about in town they were almost sure. By the time he has done all the things that the mortal has told him, he got his star ball back. Of course no matter how enjoyable the troubles he was made to do, he was, for a while, stripped of freedom and that was maddening for him.

After setting up his small scenario, he had led the townspeople to believe that the kitsune was the mortal that took his pearl. Humans being gullible at that time took the faked evidences enough to believe him. They burned the mortal's home, the latter inside left to burn alive. The mortal had it coming, he believed. Of course, the fox still liked that human for a while and was still amazed he was used by the other. With that, he decided to frequently use the mortal's face whenever he took on human form, just to remember.

After all that has happened, he left the town and never came back, consistently travelling from place to place to find something that could kill his boredom.

Eventually, trade ships became frequent and he tried getting on one of them, only to end up in Britain to find out fox hunting was a thing. It just strengthened his hate for dogs. He frequently moved from place to place, changing names, but he never changed his face- no one would recognize him anyway.

By the time he had passed by Magnolia springs, he decided to stay and made a home in the forest where he grew flowers that were out of season. How would that be? By little tweaks with the weather that's how. Now he was even tricking plants. His love of travelling never left him, and he would still visit other countries from time to time, even taking flowers with him sometimes to add to his garden.

Now, he's thinking of having a flower shop, but the thought of people just really makes him think loudly of "nope".
