born in toronto, canada in 1993 was a young boy named kang younghyun. as a child he was very out-going and gullible, his parents spoiled him quite a bit as at that moment he was there only child. though as the years went by, the family of three became a family of four. younghyun had a little sister, her name was yebin. he never knew how to be a big brother as there was no one there for him when he grew up. all he had was his mom and dad and so he took on their teachings and passed it on to his little sister. although out-going as a child he changed as he grew older. younghyun was a bit more introverted than before and without knowing he had become more selfish. which was something his sister would mention as she was older. during high school younghyun discovered his love for music, this made him brush aside other priorites. when he informed his parents of his dreams of becoming a singer they told him that would have a bad career choice. but teen younghyun rebelled and continued to make music and sing he joined the school choir, took on guitar lessons, and entered the school talent show every year.

a year after graduating younghyun received the support and concern of his parents to go to south korea and achieve his dream of being a singer. at 18 years old he said goodbye to his family his little sister and his litter brother (one who he did not make enough time for). this was a big step for younghyun, to be away from his family. he had countless auditions all in which unfortunately, he had failed. during the time he could contact his parents he made sure to let them know it went well but it was either too full or because of his broken korean-- and with the last few failed auditions he had planned to give up. deciding one last time to sing his heart out, busking in the night on the streets of itaewon which soon brought a miracle. he was casted to audition at 24 hours entertainment, passing with flying colors and starting his training.

after 5 1/2 years he had finally made his debut under the stage name brian. younghyun's career as an idol was great, he enjoyed performing and meeting his fans. the energy of each performance making him happier and happier. even though his career was at it's peak, younghyun had decided to end his career as a singer. he enjoyed every single moment of being a singer but his true passion was making music. although he was sad to say goodbye to that life he was excited to start producing songs for other artists. Besides from his producing music by night younghyun is known as dj youngk. although not as famous as he wants he is able to enjoy the rearranging of music at night clubs.
