on the 24th day of october 2000, jung soojung graced the world with her presence at san francisco, california. being born to a single mother who is also a famous actress, soojung's life has always been deeply connected with the art of acting and the irritating yet familiar buzz of the paparazzi. growing up, she learned the hard way that she should always maintain a good image for the others, a good reputation befitting of her family status. from a young age, she has discovered her talent for acting - it was not a passion, if she were to say.

it was something she merely used to protect herself.

her mother was a busy woman, which meant she did not have many chances to bond with soojung. soojung has spent countless days in their mansion, with only their maids as company. in her mother's attempt to 'be a mother' to soojung, she gave soojung everything she ever asked for. she grew up being given everything she asked for, but not the very thing she wanted - which was to feel her mother's love.

perhaps it was because she was desperate to get her mother's attention, soojung had been quite the rebel back in middle school until the first year of high school. it might be childish, but she was a troublemaker, known throughout the school with a bad reputation. however, of course her mother did not appreciate this, claimed that this was not the way she raised soojung to be, and so as punishment, she sent the fourteen year old girl to korea, back to her mother's native land. 

this had created quite an effect on her mother's reputation as well. the people around her then began to tell her what she should be for the public, how she should present herself in front of other people. that was when she had made the facade she wore until today, going through different scenarios to perfect the soojung they wanted to see. 

she then became known almost as a literal angel for being a sweetheart, the very opposite to the life she led before coming to korea.

at the age of sixteen, she was casted as a model. she quickly became popular and because of that, it would not really be a surprise for her to have stalkers. before she enrolled to memory high, she studied for half a year to another school. she had this one stubborn stalker, who followed her literally everywhere.

to avoid him, she transferred to memory high at her sophomore year and had been studdying in here ever since.
