just like any other teenager attending high school, jungkook was - tired, busy, stressed - the list could go on and on. but let's reweind a bit. 

jungkook lives at home with his father and his younger sister, heejin. at the age of fifteen, approximately four years ago, their mother passed away. the family had always been a tight family, never leaving each other sides and always checking up on one another. but it was easy to say that the loss of their mother tore the family apart. their father began to consume extra amounts of alcohol as the days passed on, he was more ferosious -- his father didn't seem to care about him anymore. though, he'd never act that way towards his little sister. it was his mother's last wish, of course, to always take care of her. he could remember the coolness of her smaller hands sinking within his bigger ones, weakly grasping onto them while she whispered her plea through crackled tiers and soft gasps. he'd never forget. 

but he'd also never forget the night that his door was slammed open in the middle of the night, alcohol wreaking from his fathers breath as he forced himself atop of him. it became routine, every other night. weeks after weeks the bruises upon his face became more apparent, but he figured -- if taking all of this could keep his sister safe, he would continue to do so and keep his mouth shut. jungkook soon picked up the reputation of a fighter at school, it would explain the bruises better than any other excuse. though, no one really gave the male a shot - not like he would be very vocal about his issues anyway.

jungkook isn't your typical jock. he's not known for getting the girls or partying, but he is known for how well he does on the feild. he's known for staying late, maybe even overnight sometimes, to practice. he's known for the bruises normally scattered amongst his skin, for his "Fights". he's always 'known' for something, but no one really knows him at all. they don't know that he's a top student at the school, or that he continuously spends his hours and hours away to try and get away from his father. he's overheard from girls around school that he was a mystery - perhaps that could be a good word to explain him. he didn't open up, he didn't want to open up. he takes life more seriously than he should. he doesn't see the world as he wants. to him? life . but then again, "that's always what kids think, it's nothing serious."
