Hanbin woke up with a startled, panting heavily as he reached out frantically for the lamp, pain had kicking out immensely from the lower part of his waist. The dim lighting gave him certain comfort as he reached for his drugs, popping it into his mouth. He must have forgot to take it before he went to sleep. Rubbing his face tiredly, he pulled himself up to sit, leaning on the headboard stabilising his breathe. It’s already been a year since the accident passed and he is now back to Korea. That accident had cost him his best friend, Bobby and almost crippled him for life. The blood drenched face of Bobby that he could not erased from his mind brought him sobbing as he gathered the pillow to cover his mouth, stifling the sobbing sound. He used to be normal. He can run, he can jump, he can do everything on his own. Now he can’t. The accident had caused him injuries to his spine, though they managed to save it, he need to learn to walk again, like those babies learned how to. He was in a coma for two week and no one thought he would be waking up ever but he did. His terrified brothers immediately transfer him back to Korea as soon as he regained consciousness and he barely had any idea of what actually was happening. He felt sorry for his brothers. After they had lost their parent in a helicopter crash when he is 10 years old, they had been working so hard to take over the company, although he does blame them when they sent him to London for boarding school at such a young age. He felt abandoned by his brothers and had since refused by any mean to return to Korea. He a brilliant student and had never failed anyone expectation with his achievement in both academic and sport which make the school overlook his mischievousness, and so does Bobby. His sobbing got harder when he got reminded of him, their last time seeing each other.

A knock on the door brought halt to his crying and he tried his best to stop sobbing before he answered that individual outside which must have been one of his brothers. “Hyung, I am okay. Go back to sleep.” His brother tried to ensure his condition again and he answered with the same answer. He listened attentively to his brother footstep until it disappeared. Ever since the accident, his brothers had always been in full alert around him. They were much more cautious at the time he couldn’t walk. He remembered all those painful rehabilitations he went through just for him to be able to stand, and now after almost a year of therapy he had finally regained his strength to walk again though occasionally he need crutches and wheelchair. He tried to be a better person after the accident, no more lashing out on his brother, no more being snob and rebellious, there’s no more Bobby to cover him and be his partner in crime. He had left it all in London, at the very spot where the fatal accident had claimed Bobby forever from him. The drugs had finally kicked in and he felt heavily sleepy as he brought himself down to the mattress again, doesn’t even bother that the sheet and pillow is drenched by his sweat and tears, to a deep sleep where no dream could bother him.

the pre - accident Hanbin is very prideful and self-centered. he had hated the weak and the poor. Being raised in a rich household made Hanbin never look at those who lived beneath his standard. he was blessed with both look and brain, which he used to enamor girls to his benefit. His only friend is Bobby, who he deemed the only one who could match his standard. Both of them are inseparable and each other partner in crime in everything. He is very charming in his own way and what with his brain and status, no teacher can touch him or Bobby. 

the post accident Hanbin had been stripped completely of his confidence he was once had. The lost of both his ability to walk and his friend had taken a heavy toll on himself and he no longer the prideful and arrogant Hanbin he was once. With his new self he tried to fix himself and his behaviour, the amount of time he spent in the hospital had finally forced him to look back at his despicable self. Though he still had his temper, but he is more settle back and calm. Despite his inner turmoil, the present is much bubblier and like to smile a lot. Due to the accident, Hanbin need aid to walk, he usually walking with his cane or crutches but on the day he is not feeling well, he will use wheelchair to move around. Few auspicious day where he feel strong enough, he can walk by himself within a short distance.
