lucifer and satan have always been mistaken as one and the same which, of course, wasn't true at all. the former, prior to his descent to hell, was one of the most magnificent divine beings up in the heavens. he was admired for his splendor, his beauty, wisdom, and grace which were all a step above his fellow angels.
apparently, however, even heavenly beings such as him were not immune to having their hearts tainted. lucifer was eventually overcome with pride, his near-perfectness having clouded his mind in a haze, making him want more than just being a divine entity.
so lucifer began administering in secret, preaching about the word of god as well as incorporating himself into the picture. it was a slow process but lucifer was willing to endure it - to endure all in the name of being worshipped and recognized and share god's glory.
the lord almighty, having realized what the angel was doing behind his back, cast him away from heaven before he did more damage. lucifer was, then, stripped off of his position and entry to heaven.
his name, now known as one of the angels who dared go against god, will live forever. however, it's a name no one will dare preach.

descent
lucifer's fall wasn't a graceful one, having fallen straight into hell where all the sinners were. he still had his wings but it lost its glamour upon leaving the vicinity of the lord. worst of all, the unwavering anger and hatred he began to feel made him lose his beauty and grace. lucifer grew horns and fangs, his complexion becoming ashen and his eyes losing the vibrance they once had when he was still an angel. as he continued his descent to evil and sin, however, he learned the abiliity of deceit and much like the other demons, he eventually learned how to control his form and gain a human body. hence, lucifer has also become widely known as adachi yuto.
for awhile, the entirety of hell was disorganized. souls were just everywhere and the demons try hard to put themselves into order. finally, the demon populace decided to delegate roles to each of the fallen and the demons who have already made their name in hell. this was how lucifer came to be as hell's "prince of pride," ruling hell along with six others.

together, he, samael, lilith, astaroth, and the other six princes run this company and try not to fall into ruin themselves.

personality
as his title dictates, yuto would never kneel to anyone. hence, he took up the position of being head of management despite the amount of work he has to place on the job. moreoever, he is quite arrogant and strict with his work - so much as that demons easily get sanctioned if they displease him at least once. outside of work, he was still the same uptight demon who walked with his head up high as if he was someone unreachable.
