Jennie's life as a human was something she didn’t reminisce over with a smile. she was born into a wealthy family. her mother was a beautiful actress who constantly landed roles in films that boasted her feminine elegance and her father was a dashing businessman who was determined to work long and laborious hours to provide for his family. everything was going we until her father was possessed by greed. he had realised that his investors were willing to put more money into the company when they learnt of her mother's identity, begging at her father's heels to exchange a few hours of her mother's time for a generous investment and to jennie and her mother's dismay, her father accepted the bargain. the foul man held after parties for company members in the annual general meeting to treat the established stakeholders something more than a little dividend. he invited escorts from the men’s favourite clubs as well as actresses and models who were friends of her mother to the party, offering them fame and fortune for their presence and services- it was a vile misogynistic festival of lust.

on the 5th anniversary of the horrid party, nearing the end of the night, her mother passed away- no, she was murdered by one of her father’s colleagues during an all-to-eager ‘dance’ and her father didn’t even blink. for the next three years, her father made her take her mother’s place. she pleased his investors and offered them everything their hearts desired. she was barely 18 at the night of the 9th anniversary of the event and she couldn’t take any more of it, so she hid a two small daggers under her dress robe and invited the five most generous investors into her room- one of them being her mother’s murderer. once they were fulfilled and distracted, she run her blades against their throats and pierced the daggers into their necks with nothing more than a little flinch when the blood splattered across her features.

it was then that the prince of lust emerged from the shadows a devilish grin upon his lips as he offered her a better life away from here and of course, she agreed immediately.

better life might be pushing it- now that she’s in hell, she’d just doing what she did before but on a daily basis and for her own benefit not her father’s. her behaviour and life choices would have revolted her human self but she left her humanity at hell’s gates and she had no plans of getting it back. she enjoyed life now, free of judgment, restrictions- free of fear. but it was boring, there was nothing to drive her. which is why jennie has now resorted to going around the office infuriating everyone and anyone she can. her actions are reckless and thoughtless and at first glance she would seem like- well, a ‘dumb hoe’ which sometimes she is. but, for the most part, she does it to feel a little more human again. she wants to feel the fear, the adrenaline- the thrill of what someone would do to her. she just wanted to feel pain. she wanted to feel the delicacy and significance of life.

she’s not really good at making friends and she only really has mingyu. there are the other department kids but she doesn’t mingle around with them too much. mingyu is someone she’ll seek out for after every bad and every good and every in between too. the only person other than her mother she'll willing and sincerely say 'i love you' to.
