staying still has always been a problem for tingyan. there were just so many other things that she could be doing; places to see, people to meet and sites to experience. she moved to seoul with the last few bucks in her savings account, leaving behind her disappointed parents that wished for their only daughter to get a good job, a good husband, a good house and eventually good kids. but, no; that was faaaar too normal for tingyan's liking.

she's often referred to as a jack of all trades, but a master of none. she put her best 'trade' to use upon moving to korea and became a yoga instructor at a gym but soon found that job insufficient for her lifestyle of spontaneous jet setting, lobster eating and party going. this is where her second source of income came to play, joining a website for those seeking arrangements with older and wealthy men. though this 'profession' may be frowned upon, she finds it noble and exciting enough for her, getting to interact with men who sponsor her rent when all she needs to do is pretend that she came before their male enhancement pills wear off.

she doesn't have many friends, as she never stays in one spot for too long, but finds it easy to talk to people and knows exactly what to say to get her way. she's bold and fearless, unashamed of speaking her mind and possess no guilt when it comes to satisfying that inner voice telling her to do what makes her happy. she's spontaneous and wild, finding herself in situations and causing drama just to keep her life busy. she'll introduce herself by using a fake name and make you believe she's an investment banker, shoplift at a convenience store just to see if she has the skill to do and get away with it, seduce someone at the bar only to put all of her drinks on the tab and  all of the girls' she met throwing up in the bathroom drinks as well. if it's expected, she wants no part of it.

tingyan is no stranger to dating apps - but not really for the sake of getting into a relationship. she has a habit of meeting guys and girls and setting up dates only to order the most expensive items on the menu, eat her tiny heart out, and running away before the bill can arrive. however, this one escape plan didn't work out too well as it lands her stuck in the window of the restaurant bathroom or attained by security for suspicious behaviour, leading her to call for help from the same poor er who bought her medium rare steak for her.

her no. 1 pal. her roommate and the closest thing she will get to family in korea. this encompasses all the fun activities such as painting nails, braiding hair aaaaand covering her rent when her sugar daddy from japan decides to cut her card because she didn't send enough nudes last week. actually, it includes paying for quite a few months of rent and bailing her out after that call from the station saying they caught her trying to steal chupa chups from the 7 eleven.

due to an eviction notice, tingyan rather not go back to her apartment in fear she will be kicked out. the easier option is to have a series of one night stands just to crash over at someone's place. she's not really subtle about her intentions, either: bringing a change of clothes, her phone charger and her retainers. she sees no issue in sleeping with someone for the sake of having somewhere to spend the night, it's a fair trade.
