centuries passed and no one really knows where inari came from. it is said that the name suddenly popped up during the 892 a.d. however, no one knows her real age.

but taeyeon was not who she is right now. before she became the goddess fertility, she was a little girl with big dreams. she never knew that one day in her life, she would be a fox kami who people would look up to.

taeyeon was living in the surface peacefully, managing to be the goddess everyone loves and at the same time, despised. although for her, she thinks something was missing in her life, thinking being a deity is not that caught up to be. so she got out of her shrine and mingle with the mortals and other supernaturals. 

it was hard for her, but managed to even have a quiet home in a small village in japan. years passed by as she was being worshipped by the people, inari was occupied in finding the missing piece in her life. and that was the time she had met a man. 

they fell in love, got married. she named herself tomo, a simple young woman who dreams to have a much more peaceful life. a life where she could be not a goddess but a normal being. she fought the other kamis for herself, chose the life of a married woman to a man she knew as mikage.

never did she know, that all those time she was in bind with the man, he was a supernatural like her. 

two years after their marriage, their love bloomed. tomo conceived a daughter. but the man didn't know. for he left even before the child was born. he left her on a cold winter night, waking up to no one beside her. mikage left her without a trace. 

she spent years in waiting, hoping that one day her husband would soon return but after eight centuries, no hi nor hellos were made. 

when she got her daughter , she was afraid. that one day the little girl would ask where her father is, or even leave her for she is a mess. a goddess falling in love with a human?(she didn't know he was immortal). crazy.

the baby was then left to an old married couple, giving the responsibility to take care of her daughter.

she was afraid that she might not be able to take care of mirai, her child's name. 

and that baby girl now, was minkyung.

little did the younger kitsune know, inari has been watching her from the skies. every day she would send down one of her maidens to look after the small child and when she finally reached the right age, her daughter became on of her shrine maidens. minkyung didn't know that she was her mother.

and during the child's service, inari was hostile towards her own child. she wanted no favorites and she had to be strict and the girl hated the goddess's stubborn nature. taeyeon knew that

so when minkyung left the shrine and burned one of it's place, instead of being mad at her daughter, she was sad. 

now that inari has been in the world for millennias, she decided it was the time to come back to the surface again.

and that is where she found magnolia springs. coincidentally, her daughter also resides in the town, which had given her a chance to redeem herself to be a good mother to her youngling.

and much to her liking, she met mingyu. the man who stole her heart with his new identity. 

Personality she is very stubborn and full of pride. it is her nature as a goddess, someone full of themselves. although she is mostly soft and accomdating to almost everyone. however, she could come off as someone who is two-faced, since she usually just smiles at all times. but she really isn't who people think she is. taeyeon is a goddess who holds everything deep inside her heart

she was quiet and reserved with her head filled with pride. but now, she is known as the town's crazy inari. a loud woman who is always there to make people smile.
