You were close to giving up, but didn't because you were head over heels for her and decided to court her until she gives you the chance to let you love her.

She's cold, quiet, and a softie (for her loved ones) with trust issues. But there's more than this to somebody with her dark painful past. Roh Kyungjoo was born and grew up in a broken family. Her dad is an alcholic and always abuse her whether with a reason or not ever since her mom was murdered by a group of robbers when she was 12 years old. Ever since her father became an alcholic, Kyungjoo has been locking herself in her room after beaten by her father everyday. Afterwards, her dad was mysteriously murdered and was cheated on her exes as well as being and abused by them.

Despite of being alone in the world without trusting anyone (except for her loved ones) and never believing love ever again, she had to survive all of the hardships in the world. But with her perseverance and capability, she managed to overcome all odds and battle out the difficulties. Still affected by her past, she is now working at a prestigious hostipal as a doctor after graduating from a international medical school. By doing so, she wants to support a new, happy life and finally find purpose to life she has never had. Instead, a certain demon appeared in her life to tell her that she must bond with it because this is her family's tradition for generations. If Kyungjoo refuses to do it, then the demon threatened her to kill the people she loved and cared about until she gives in.
