Kyunsang knows that he is an abandoned and unwanted child of irresponsible young parents. He is the child of an accidental pregnancy. He was left at the hospital's nursery room as soon as he was born. The doctors and nurses felt pity for him as he was left behind without a name, unregistered birth certificate, and a tube down his throat to assist him breathe. One of the doctors who stumbled upon the news of him being abandoned, decided to adopt him as the doctor had always wanted a child but didn't managed to due to he passing of his wife. That is the start of how Kyunsang has a loving father in his life. 

He grew up into a very big guy, raised by his adoptive father and he was always the top student in school. His father's love for curing patients leads him to studying medicine to become a doctor just like his father. Life was good until his father was diagnosed with stomach cancer. It was supposed to be a simple surgery of removing the tumor but due to the carelessness of the surgeon, his father had died days after the surgery. It was because of a medical instrument that was left in his stomach. Kyunsang eventually took a break from school for about year to fight for his father's death and get therapy for his alcoholic state, and all the fight was over with a win on his side but he knows that it did nothing to bring his father back. 

kyunsang used to be a very outspoken man who loves to hang out until three in the morning with his group of friends, doing silly things such as sneaking into the dean's office to mess with the documents by misplacing them. it was all fun and games with him being cheeky and playful. he was even known for being one of the most playful and naughty medic student in his faculty that still manages to get outstanding grades among his peers. yet that part of him is gone after the death of his father, triggering a violent side of him that he had never shown. 

between the months of his break from school, kyunsang had turned into someone who is impatient and vile. his way of coping for the lost of his only family was by drinking and smoking until the point that he became an alcoholic and his hands gets shaky if he didn't have a smoke for a few hours. all of that however, slowly disintegrates after the win of his father;s case with the help of therapy and his three therapy cats. he is still coping however. he may act fine yet looking less friendly than before, but he is still torn and broken deep inside from the lost of his father. he is still mourning for his death once he is alone in his room.
