Once exposed to the madness from the incident that took place when Asura escaped a while back, Jae lost his mind as insanity spread over the world. He went around and wrecked havoc to several towns before his meister knew he needed to stop him, but by the time he tried to fight back the maddness, he had already taken the souls of many innocents and kishins alike. And by the end, he consumed his own partner’s soul as well. After it all ended, he managed to regain enough consciousness to hide himself away while he worked on keeping his madness in wraps. Over time, Jae learned to keep it mostly in check, so he would finally be able to attend school. Though, from time to time, small triggers would still make the other side of him seep through. The weapon now is a calm and collected person. He can be sweet and tries to help others the best way he can, but when it comes to himself, he wouldn’t take a moment to open up and let anyone help him. Ever since the madness inside him escaped, there was another side to himself he had to fight off. He desperately tries to keep it locked up, because if not, then the insane, blood thirsty, kishin-like side to him will go berserk, and he knows it would definitely get him into a lot of trouble at the academy.

 

 

His reason for attending to school in the first place was that he hoped to find a new partner, one that could handle him. Someone who’s nice and understanding, but also ambitious with a genuine goal in their mind. Though he hasn’t become a death scythe yet, he is able to wield himself already and hopes to be able to help his future meister achieve their goal, as a show of gratitude for being by his side.

 

 

Jae’s weapon form is a mirror. His main form is becoming a pair of large glass forearm blades that attaches to both arms of his meister. Other than that he has two other small powers that he can use, though both not usually for long periods of time, that can be quite helpful in some situations. The first is the ability to create illusions or mirages, depending on the size and strain of the illusion, it could hold up for a very long time or last merely a few seconds. And the second is that he can turn into many tangible things though only for specific measures of time, this which depends on the worth of the object or the size of the soul wavelength of the weapon he’s trying to turn into.
