Born into a strict family, jungwoo's childhood wasn't much of one. he was raised into fancy dinners with his mother and company almost every night and, when that wasn't happening, he played--or rather, trained--for football with his father. his father had been a legend, breaking his own records every year and playing as both captain and first string quarterback for his team in college. jungwoo had played since he learned to walk.

He wasn't sure what his mother did. when he was little, he couldn't understand it and By the time he was in highschool, he didn't care. All he knew was that after a fancy dinner, he'd sometimes see her sneaking a kiss with some unfamiliar man in a suit.

just like any other stereotypical father like his, jungwoo's was the epitome of the straight male and therefore so was he. any sign of jungwoo being "gay" would result in a "discussion" and punishment. in about 4th grade, jungwoo discovered his love for music. perhaps it was partially because of the classical music playing so often in his house, but jungwoo was fascinated with all kinds of instruments. he convinced his mother to let him take cello lessons but that only lasted a few weeks untill it was very roughly shot down and cancelled by his father.

Finishing high school and moving on to college was both the best and worst thing for him. he was so happy to finally have the freedom he wanted to do what he wanted. the only problem was that his high school football was going to transfer and get even more important. the realization that he may not even have time to continue learning any instruments.

The second best thing that had happened to him was meeting park mijoo. She didn't seem to care about his or his dad's "legacy" and seemed interested in him. They began dating after a month and she was very supportive, always wanting him to take every opportunity he got so he could shine.

The problems seemed to arise when she (1) got too invested in him, everything she did seemed to just be for him to get better and go pro and (2) wouldn't allow him to do anything past a little kiss.

Jungwoo came to her about it a few times but, every time, her answer was that it was so he could succeed and once he went pro they could do anything. This always felt good enough to him because she does so much for him but there remains the nagging feeling that something isn't right in their relationship.
