Seo Kangjoon was born into parents that didn’t want him. Or rather, his elven mother didn’t. How scandalous it would have been if her family caught whiff of her having a child with someone. So of course, she took off and left. Leaving Kangjoon’s father in despair. But Kangjoon never complained, worked hard, and did the very, very best he could for him and his father. And in return, his father loved him more than words could describe. Nothing could break their bond, till his faithful mother’s family broke in one night, a decade later, and his beloved parent’s string had been cut. Kangjoon tried to fight, tried to avenge his loss, but he was subdued and was forced to watch as his only family left him. A stab to the heart was not enough that night, they decided, and gave the male bruises that stole his innocence and ones that would remain etched in his memory for the rest of his life. He hit rock bottom after that fateful day, and it took another decade for him to pull himself up. Those self inflicted scars that reminded him of the murky darkness that had swallowed him for all those years made him adamant of seeing no one else suffer the way he had. So he became a certified psychologist, left to Magnolia Springs (with all the memoirs he had of his father) and began a life that would save others.
He’s a pacifist, always trying to solve a problem in a way that requires no violence. Obviously, he’s very in tune with his emotions as well as very willing to be a shoulder for anyone and everyone. He can be rather quiet, preferring to observe rather than join in. Perhaps it comes from his elven side, but he has deep love for nature. He’s lithe and can hold his own in a fight, but as aforementioned would do a lot to prevent it in the first place. Lastly, due to him growing up with a human, he’s never explored the powers that he’s had, suppressing them all his life.
Kangjoon, more than anything, would like someone who understands and cares for him. Someone who can drag him out of his shell, and may be even someone he’d finally open up his past to and powers with. Ideally also someone he can protect and absolutely spoil.
